BOCKWOLDT GEARED MOTORS GO STIR CRAZY

Bockwoldt geared motors here are employed  as stirrers or agitator drives on biomass containers.



In this case the transmissions comprise:-



11kw, 15kw or 18.5kw motors running atc.1400rpm driving through a 2
stage Bockwoldt helical reducer with ratio of c.7:1 resulting in output
speed of approx. 200rpm to the impellor shaft. Provision for adjusting
the angle of the stirrer for optimum effect can be seen. Bockwoldt
geared motors in this case need to comply with ATEX requirements and are
prepared for operating outside.
